Social activist walks from Accra to Kumasi for peace

Ghanaian YouTuber, film editor/director and now social activist Kingkay Africa has completed a scheduled Peace Walk from Accra to Kumasi in eight days.

The walk started from the Independence Square in Accra on Saturday, October 31 and traversed scenic routes on the Accra-Kumasi stretch and ended on Saturday, November7.

The walk, which was expected to be completed within 10 days.

However, it took Kingkay Africa two days short to complete the journey.

This, according to him, is very significant and he is excited about this.

The walk had the objective of crusading for peace in the upcoming election as well as instilling in young Ghanaians a sense of confidence, positivity and a can-do spirit.

Citizens and combatants engaged during the walk expressed commitment and pledged to observe peace during, before and after the December 7 elections.

KingKay Africa has other events lined up on the same agenda in the coming weeks.
