‘You are a wicked person’ – Davido scolds fan for bringing baby to concert

Nigerian superstar, Davido criticised a fan’s decision to bring a baby to one of his shows, describing the fan’s act as reckless and dangerous.

Davido was on stage performing his hit song ‘Ogechi’, which features BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, when the incident occurred during an outdoor concert.

In the midst of entertaining the crowd of fans, Davido noticed a supporter carrying an infant.

Disturbed by what he witnessed, Davido paused his performance and called out the fan.

The Nigerian musician questioned the fan’s decision to bring a bay to such a crowded environment and described the fan as a “wicked” person.

“Who is carrying a baby? Are you crazy? Take your baby away. You are a wicked person,” he said.

After being captured on camera, his reaction went viral on social media, generating a variety of opinions.

Davido’s reaction was supported by many people, who concurred that it was extremely dangerous to bring a baby to such a crowded location.

One user commented, “Why would a person bring a baby to this kind of place? Women with wahala.”

Another questioned how security or event protocol allowed it in the first place, writing, “Why did they allow the person bring a baby in? Misplaced priorities.”

Others also backed Davido’s reaction, saying it was necessary.

“Common sense should’ve told them a concert environment isn’t safe for a baby. Davido had every right to speak up,” one comment read.
