Emmanuel Boateng is relishing his return to Portugal after signing a two-year deal with Rio Ave in August.
Boateng has adapted well in his second stint and can boast of three impressive goals in seven appearances so far this season.
He scored his third goal on Monday, as he inspired Rio Ave to a 1-0 win over Portimonense. The 26-year-old brilliantly controlled a long ball and calmly slotted the ball into the net.

Boateng left China to return to Europe, and it appears that he made the right decision, as he is quickly rediscovering himself. It wouldn’t be surprising if he is named to Ghana’s World Cup provisional squad.
Boateng has one goal in seven appearances for the Black Stars since 2018. He last played for the senior national team in March 2021.
