Talented Kidz S9: Future Leaders, Juliana, and First Fire booted out

Three contestants of this year’s Talented Kidz on Sunday failed to make it to the next stage of the competition as they became the first set of contestants to be evicted from the show that seeks to help kids showcase their talents. At the end of week three on Sunday, the judge’s hammer struck Future Leaders, Juliana Yeboah and First Fire Acrobats. Although they had impressed the audience and some of the judges with their awesome display and performances, that could not save them from eviction as it was the end of the road for them. The day’s performance which was in honor of the nation’s Independence celebration saw all contestants robed in Ghana outfits and colours as they went down memory lane to 1957. Amazingly, though the contestants have not had a feel of the olden days before, they thrilled and surprised the audience with their old school skits, moves, dance steps and tunes from the nation’s legends such as Osibisa, E. T. Mensah, J.A. Adofo, Gyadu Blay Ambulley, Amakye Dede, A.B Crentsil and many others.

It was a sad moment for some of the evictees
DJ Marf succeeded in commanding respect for Ghana, as the entire house including judges and the presenter stood to attention and sang to the national anthem as it was played. All contestants before their performance, admonished the audience to stay patriotic to Ghana. Peniel Dodoo emerged the Star Performer of the day as Revelation Dancers were saved from eviction.
