Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho is reportedly uninterested in returning to the club next season, as he appears to be relishing his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho has allegedly engaged in preliminary discussions regarding his future with members of the Red Devils’ hierarchy, following his exclusion by manager Ten Hag for publicly accusing the Dutchman of scapegoating him on social media.

Since joining his former club Borussia Dortmund on loan in January until the end of the season, the 24-year-old has flourished, with the Bundesliga side eager to secure him on loan again for the 2024/25 campaign.

In 17 games, Sancho has tallied three goals and two assists, including a standout performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final first leg, where his side secured a 1-0 victory.

Sancho and Ten Hag’s public disagreement initially surfaced earlier in the season when the Manchester United boss suggested that the former England international’s absence from the squad for September’s Arsenal clash was due to his performances in training.

Sancho retaliated on social media, stating, “I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue… I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!”

As a result, Sancho was isolated from first-team training before ultimately departing in the January transfer window.

Despite speculation surrounding Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United, with reports linking him to Bayern Munich and suggestions of potential changes in management by new part-owners INEOS, Sancho reportedly maintains his desire to stay away from the club.

With two years remaining on his current contract with Manchester United, Sancho’s future remains uncertain, particularly amidst the club’s recent struggles, exemplified by their 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
