Former Manchester United winger Lee Sharpe has criticised captain Bruno Fernandes for his antics during games.

Lee Sharpe, who slammed Antony for cupping his ear during United’s penalty shootout victory against Coventry City, has now shared his thoughts on Bruno Fernandes’ demeanor on the pitch.

Bruno has faced scrutiny for his behavior during matches, and the former Premier League winner has acknowledged that the Portuguese midfielder irritates him.

I have to say that Bruno Fernandes does annoy me. I’m not keen on him throwing himself around and throwing his arms in the air as the Man Utd captain. You have to keep calm when others around you lose their heads, but the hand waving, the gestures and the moaning is what I just don’t agree with at all. You have to be a class above when you’re the captain of Man Utd and he lets himself down in that aspect,” He said

However, Lee Sharpe commended Bruno Fernandes for his hard work on the pitch, acknowledging that despite its risks, it contributes positively to the team.

“He does work hard but I think he’s a bit ill-disciplined at times with his positional play. Him running all over the place looks like hard work, but it leaves his team-mates exposed. He is hot and cold with me, parts of him are unbelievable but other parts I can take or leave,” He added.

Since joining the Red Devils from Sporting Club Lisbon, Bruno Fernandes has reached top form. His remarkable performances and leadership qualities have even seen him captaining the team.

With only the FA Cup left to compete for, Bruno aims to lead his team to victory over their rivals Manchester City, hoping to guide them in the right direction.
