Dreams FC showcased remarkable resilience as they secured advancement to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup, eliminating Guinean team Milo FC de Kankan.

In a pivotal match at the Accra Sports Stadium, forward John Antwi emerged as the hero, playing a pivotal role in Dreams FC’s 2-1 victory. Antwi not only earned a crucial penalty but also netted the decisive goal that propelled his team to victory.

Despite entering the second leg as favorites following a 1-1 draw in Conakry, Dreams FC faced adversity when the visiting side took the lead within the first 15 minutes.

With the clock ticking and the pressure building, Dreams improved in the final minutes. Antwi was brought down in the penalty box. Stepping up confidently, Agyenim Boateng converted the penalty amid the palpable tension in the stadium.

Minutes later, Boateng shifted roles, becoming the provider as he set up the experienced Antwi to secure the winning goal. Dreams FC’s collective effort resulted in a 3-2 aggregate victory, propelling them to the next stage of the competition.

Their next challenge awaits against Sierra Leonean side Kallon as Dreams FC continue their journey in the CAF Confederation Cup.
