A Ghanaian man on Monday rejected his ex-girlfriend’s proposal on live radio.
Franklyn rejected Mrs O’s (not her real name) proposal while both were speaking on 3FM’s Connec-X-tion, a new show on 3FM Drive for this month of love.
Both have been in a relationship back in the University where Mrs. O was the financial provider in the relationship and secured all their needs with the little money she receives from her parent.
Mrs. O after sometime became fed up and gave in to the attention from another man who happened to be financially stable and could cater for her needs.
She did not break up with Franklyn initially but took money from the new man and catered for Franklyn with the money she receives. Franklyn on the other hand was aware of the absurd situation but got fed up at some point and demanded that Mrs. O chooses between himself and the new guy.

According to Mrs. O, she could no longer handle the pressure from Franklyn which included his constant financial instability and chose money instead of love out of “naivety”.
She went ahead to date the new guy who was financially stable and they got married later on. After two years of marriage, Mrs. O is now in the process of divorcing her husband with claims she had realized her mistake and wants to get back together with Franklyn.
She’s not been with her husband for three years now after informing him she’s no more interested in the marriage without any tangible reason.
“There’s no love, no peace, he’s a great man I don’t dispute that but that inner peace and love I do not get that,” she told AJ Sarpong and Giovani Caleb on 3FM Drive.
When Franklyn received the proposal from his ex-girlfriend on air, without mincing words he blatantly rejected her interest.
He said his focus currently is on establishing himself financially and have no interest for Mrs. O’s theatrics.
“She really needs to find someone else. I don’t see how someone would believe that as your man I would tell you to go and find another man and when you come back I will accept you. It doesn’t make sense.
“Nobody does that. I’m single but I want to focus on making money, I did not have money and she did not want me. I’m really pained but she should just move on. You followed money, I’m focusing on making money. I can’t finish making money and come back to you,” Franklyn blatantly ignored her ex-girlfriend’s proposal.
