Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie will soon link up with American rapper, singer and record producer Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, popularly known in Showbiz circles as Chance the rapper.
The Americana rapper is loving Ghana through his consistent tweets expressing his desire and excitement for travelling down.
It can be recounted that the rapper made a tweet on December 2021 last year and said he wished he was in Ghana.
He tweeted: “Wishing I was in Accra.”
He arrived in Ghana on January 5, a few days after his tweet, as events kept on piling up for the new year. And he was seen in several videos having fun touring the country.
Two days ago, he shared a tweet expressing his love for Accra and stating that his arrival into the country saved his life.
He said, “Accra, I love you. You save my life.”
A few hours ago, the American rapper made a tweet yearning to see Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie.
“I’ve done everything in Ghana except meet @sarkodie,” his tweet read.
The Ghanaian rapper replied, “We linking up before you get on that plane,” using an aeroplane emoji.
Twitter users could not hide their excitement as @Kwasigazy tweeted: “Big win…” displaying the Ghana Flags.
@Baroskythenewg also tweeted: “Adwuma no asi,” meaning the work is done.
@qwekunsiah said: “Let’s make History!!!”.
@Abrante3Gideon tweeted, “Finally, the Landlord is replying. I trust and… love this Gee. Always making us Proud.”
We can not tell what to expect from their meet up yet, but it should definitely be something big.
