Jordan Ayew confident of Swansea win over L'pool

Jordan Ayew scored in Swansea City’s last outing, at Wolves, in the FA Cup
Jordan Ayew has spoken of his recent positive form and believes his club side Swansea City can draw confidence from their recent positive run and march into the Premier League clash with Liverpool with a positive mentality. The Ghana international scored an amazing goal that followed a mazy run through the defense of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round replay last Wednesday. The Swans have been deep-rooted in relegation fight this season, but if Jordan’s form continues, their campaign might just switch around for the better. Ayew has rallied his teammates around to go into the weekend full of confidence to win against a top side. “We are into a crucial stage of the season and every match is really important,” said Ayew, who has scored five goals this season. “Confidence is very important and winning on Wednesday night boosted the team’s confidence. That can help us mentally for Monday’s match. “We know it’s not going to be easy on Monday but with the support we have and quality in the squad we know we have to start improving and winning games. We need points, and that’s the target,” he appended. By Thierry Nyann|editors.3news.com|Ghana
