The Ghana Football Association has sealed a five-year deal with Zylofon Media for the sponsorship of the Ghana Premier League. Beginning this season, Zylofon Media will dedicate its subsidiary firm, Zylofon Cash, as the sponsors of the nation’s top-tier league. The deal was signed on Thursday in Accra. It is expected to benefit the second-tier league, Division One League, as well, according to GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi. The premier league has been without sponsorship since 2015, when First Capital Plus Bank abrogated its contract with the GFA. According to reports, the Zylofon deal is worth $10 million in total with the Association getting $2 million each year. Clubs are expected to receive $70,000 each year with the winner after every season getting $40,000 in addition. Source: editors.3news.com|Ghana Follow @3Newsgh
