Black Queens Head Coach Kim Lars Bjรถrkegren has released his squad for the upcoming Womenโs Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be held in Morocco next month.

All participating nations were given a deadline of Friday, June 27 to submit their squads.
Coach Bjรถrkegrenโs squad is dominated by players who have been on the training tour in Benslimane, Morocco.
The list contains four local based players.
Only four players from the 2018 WAFCON squad (Sherifatu Sumaila, Alice Kusi, Portia Boakye, and Grace Asantewaa) made it into Coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s squad for Morocco’s showpiece.
The goalkeepers are Cynthia Komlan Fiindib, Afi Amenyeku and Kerry McCarthy.
The defenders are Louisa Aniwaa, Nina Norshie, Susan Ama Duah, Anasthesia Akyaa, Portia Boakye, Comfort Yeboah, Ernestina Abambilla, and Josephine Bonsu.
The midfielders are Jacqueline Owusu, Jennifer Cudjoe, Grace Asantewaa, Evelyn Badu, Stella Nyamekye, Nancy Amoh, abd Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah.
The strikers are Princess Marfo, Sherifatu Sumaila, Princella Adubea, Wasiima Mohammed, Alice Kusi and Doris Boaduwaa.
The tournament starts on Saturday, July 5 but the Black Queens will begin their campaign on Monday, July 7 against the defending champions South Africa.
