We’re bringing in 11 new players – Gold Stars CEO Kwesi Adu

Bibiani Gold Stars are actively strengthening their squad based on the recommendations of head coach Frimpong Manso, who has identified key areas that require reinforcement ahead of the upcoming season.
According to the club’s leadership, Chief Executive Officer of Bibiani Gold Stars, Kwesi Adu, speaking on Akoma Sports on Akoma 87.9 FM, the coach expressed concerns over the current squad size of 31 players from last season. He has proposed an expansion to a 40-man squad to ensure greater depth and balance.
”The coach has clearly identified the areas he wants to improve, and we are signing the players he specifically asked for,” Kwesi Adu said. “He proposed that we add nine more players because he wants to have three full sets of eleven players, which he’ll then combine with some young talents to form a 40-man squad.”
According to him, Frimpong Manso initially requested 11 new players, eight senior additions and a few promising young players, to create strong internal competition and tactical depth.
One of the top targets currently being pursued is PAC Academy’s defensive midfielder, Emmanuel Kojo Addy.
“We’re in advanced talks with PAC Academy to sign Emmanuel Kojo Addy. If all goes well, he should join us very soon,” Mr. Adu confirmed. “By Monday or Tuesday, we expect to have all our signings completed.”
With Gold Stars preparing for both domestic and continental duties this season, the club is eager to wrap up their transfer business early and give the technical team enough time to integrate the new signings.
