Expect collabos with Stonebwoy, Efya & more Africans this year – Afro B

British DJ, singer, and songwriter Ross-Emmanuel Bayelo, known in showbiz as Afro B, has disclosed more collaborations with African entertainers are bound to happen this year.

In an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3’s New Day, Afro-B said fans should look out for an exciting year.

According to the “Drogba” hit maker, he arrived in Ghana a week ago and his expectations are to connect, record and mingle with some key Ghanaian artists.

He revealed he has some songs recorded with Efya and another one with Stonebwoy which will be released sooner in the year 2022.

“Expect an album, expect more African collaborations with Efya, Stonebwoy, we got Shezy, the guy who produced Peru. There is more, I mean more things are coming in 2022”, he said.

“My album will be released in 2022 and it’s called the “Afro wave 4”, the rebirth. I keep sticking to Afro wave because that is the brand and the aim is to connect the diaspora, to Africa, to connect those who do not understand it, and to change the perception of people who think we are just anyhow”, he added.

Asked if he is signed under any record label, he said he enjoys being independent because he has the ability to say and do anything that makes him feel comfortable. He also revealed that he has no plans of accepting to work under any record label at the moment but he might do so if the need arises.

“I am not signed on any record label. I am independent and I have more flexibility to say anything I want, to do anything I want so I haven’t joined any major label. Maybe I might but I enjoy being independent for now”, he reiterated.

He added that he is looking forward to expanding in his career this year and that has been his expectation for the year 2022.
