Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential hopeful Kojo Yankah has expressed his disappointment in the current GFA administration following the release of the roadmap for the upcoming elections.

The Election Committee through the GFA announced that the Elective Congress which sought to elect the GFA president for the next four years is set to come off on September 27 after nominations have been opened for four days from August 7 to 11,

Mr Yankah, who had served as Western Regional Football Association chairman and an executive council member under the Kwesi Nyantakyi administration feels the current arrangements outlined aren’t favourable to individuals who have intentions of contesting the presidential elections.

Speaking to Onua Sports, Mr Yankah vowed to not let the elections happen stating that, “ The Elections will not come on and if it happens, something tragic will happen.”

“Kurt is scared of me, I am the reason why they are doing that but I will make sure the elections do not happen. Kurt lacks integrity and will lose the elections” he added.

Yankah declared his intention to contest the office of the GFA presidency a couple of months ago.
