The chairman of Hearts of Oak’s supporters, Elvis Herman Hesse, has called upon the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to take disciplinary action against the referees who officiated their match against Kotoko last Sunday.

Hesse Herman believes that the officials made a deliberate mistake when they failed to call an apparent offside during Kotoko’s second goal, which led to a 3-2 victory for the opposing team.

The match was officiated by referee Reginald Amoah, with Ali Timuah Baah and Mikaal Fauzan serving as assistant line 1 and 2, respectively. Gabriel Opoku Arhin was the fourth official on duty.

In an interview with Peace FM, Herman Hesse stated, “We are appealing to the GFA to as a matter of urgency suspend all the officials that officiated the Hearts-Kotoko match on Sunday…Everybody should be suspended and an investigation needs to be carried out because we the supporters believe that there was something hidden in that decision.”

“It was so obvious…We believe that the assistant Ali Tiamoah Baah, should have prevented that decision but because he knew what he was doing he collided with the other referees and they allowed that goal to stand.”

Herman Hesse emphasised that if the GFA does not take action against the referees, they will not be welcome to officiate any future Hearts of Oak matches, particularly at their home stadium.
