The nominees for Artiste of the year for the 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music awards are officially out.
On Saturday night, Charterhouse released the nominations list for the anticipated top 5 categories Best New Artiste, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year, and Artiste of the Year at an event in Accra.
Musicians who received nominations for the Artiste of the year at the ceremony include, Black Sherif, Camidoh, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Kidi, King Promise and Piesie Esther who happens to be the only female artiste on the list.

The list has been met with a lot of mixed reactions from the public and fans of the various artiste who have received nominations for the category.

The show will air live on May 13 from the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
