Mrs. Doris Kwakye, the wife of Reverend Minister Kwakye has urged the youth to avoid engaging in sex before marriage.

Mrs. Doris Kwakye who is successfully married for 32 years now was sharing her experience on TV3’s New Day on February 14, 2024.

She urged the younger generation to commit their partners into the Lord’s hand before they tie the knot and avoid “testing the waters.”

“As a Christian and with my background, I will not encourage pre-marital sex because you need to wait for the Lord to prepare you to know the background of that person and even when you get married, you pray that the Lord should bless the marriage. Some people say they are going to test, pray the Lord will reveal the background,” she said.

Despite instances where partners avoided sex before marriage and later realized they were sexually incompatible after marriage, Mrs Kwakye still vehemently opposed the idea of pre-marital sex to identify whether or not partners are sexually compatible.

She stressed that the youth must trust God for a perfect partner.

“Just trust God that the Lord has given you the best man or woman,” she noted.
