Scooby Selah, a member of TH4 Kwaages music group, in an exclusive interview with Dj Magnus on Oil City Mix on Connect 97.1 FM, disclosed how Castro was unearthed as a talent.

According to him, he discovered Castro after he visited him in his apartment in Takoradi in the late 90s.

Scooby Selah mentioned that Theophilos Tagoe, known as Castro, surprisingly started singing to an instrumental made for an upcoming song for the TH4 Kwaages group.

“Castro visited us (TH4 Kwaages) in our apartment in Takoradi. To my surprise, he started singing an instrumental for an upcoming project. I asked him if he’s recorded any song before. He said no. He told me he had a friend who’s also an upcoming artiste. So I formed a group and named them 2 PM, which means Two Prominent Men,” he revealed.

When asked if Castro will return after 8 years of going missing, he said, ” We are still hoping for the best.”

The multiple award-winning musician went missing in July 2014 during a trip to Aqua Safari with his long-term friend and former captain of the Black stars of Ghana, Asamoah Gyan, and his brother Baffour Gyan.
