Award-winning Ghanaian singer and rapper, Black Sherif has expressed his joy and excitement for participating in the London Fashion week over the weekend.

The 22-year-old in an interview with Kiss FM, a UK media house said “it was a dream come true” for him to be on the runway at the London Fashion week.

“I just knew that day way was coming and even with what Labrum stands for, I just feel like it had to happen. With where I am come from and the people, I represent it had to happen,” the musician said.

The musician was styled by Labrum, a fashion designer based in the UK when he appeared on the runway on February 17.

Dressed in cutting-edge designs, Black Sherif captivated the audience with his distinctive style and confident presence.

Labrum is a British African heritage brand telling the untold story of West Africa to help bridge the gap between western and West African cultures.

Black Sherif’s participation underscores his influence and interest in the fashion industry as well as the African talent in the global fashion industry.

It is unsurprising to see Blacko model on the runway of the London Fashion week. Aside his music career, Black has shown some peculiar fashion sense unapologetic as the lyrics of his music. Through his dressing in his music videos and styling up for events, he has been identified to have some passion for fashion.

Last year the musician revealed his plans to enroll in a fashion school.

This is not the first time Black Sherif has been engaged in a fashion week. Last year, the musician modelled for renowned UK fashion brand, Ellesse.
