Ghanaian Musician Black Sherif was on the runway of the London Fashion week on February 17, 2024 held at London’s renowned Tate Britain art museum.

The musician was styled by Labrum, a fashion designer based in the UK.

Labrum is a British African heritage brand telling the untold story of West Africa to help bridge the gap between western and West African cultures.

The London Fashion Week February is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The fashion week is taking place from Friday 16 to Tuesday, February 20 2024.

Ekow Barnes, a Ghanaian fashion writer and creative producer who posted the picture of Black Sherif on the London Fashion runway said “watching Blacko dominate the runway is just pure joy. His artistry shines bright, not just an artist but a fashion icon, and he’s gonna nail it!”

It is unsurprising to see Blacko model on the runway of the London Fashion week. Aside his music career, Black has shown some peculiar fashion sense unapologetic as the lyrics of his music. Through his dressing in his music videos and styling up for events, he has been identified to have some passion for fashion.

Last year the musician revealed his plans to enroll in a fashion school.

In a tweet, he announced that he is determined to go back to school to acquire skills in clothing design.

“Need to get this album out and go back to school to learn how to make clothes,” he wrote.

This is not the first time Black Sherif has been engaged in a fashion week. Last year, the musician modelled for renowned UK fashion brand, Ellesse and was also a model at the 2023 New York Fashion Week. He has also been styled by some fashion brands for magazines and photoshoots.
