Bhimnation’s Kelvyn boy is VGMA Unsung Artiste of the year

Upcoming Afrobeat and hiplife act Kelvynboy has emerged winner of the Unsung Category for the 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. The Burniton Music signee beat stiff competition from the likes of Dhat Gyal, OBK, Real MC, Christian and Dope Nation to emerge winner of the category. Kelvynboy gets to perform on the night of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, April 14 to thousands of music patrons that would throng the Accra International Conference Centre for the awards ceremony. The Unsung Category was introduced as part of the awards scheme to provide a platform on the night of the awards for new artistes to have their big break and perform on ‘music’s biggest night’. Lynxx Entertainment’s Kuami Eugene who emerged winner of the Unsung category last year thrilled audience at last year’s event, and has subsequently broken through the music scene with the release of hit songs such as Angela, Confusion among others. Kelvynboy stands a chance of becoming a household name as he readies himself to perform to millions of audience across Africa and beyond as he performs this Saturday. The Afrobeat act who is signed to Stonebwoy’s music label Burniton Music has songs such as Na You featuring Stonebwoy; Toffee, Afrobeats among others to his credit.
