Palmer accepts CAS decision
Former GFA Exco member Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer says he will not seek further redress after his appeal against his debarment from contesting the 2019 GFA presidential elections was dismissed.
The football fraternity had waited for months for a final verdict from the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) after the 10-month long arbitration process.
After the verdict release Wednesday morning, the Tema Youth FC founder posted a statement on his twitter feed with caption that read ‘Thankful’.
Part of the statement read: “It is my prayer that we all continue to pool our resources to move Ghana Football forward to reach the desired heights that we all wish for”.

Verdicts delivered by CAS can still be appealed at the Swiss Federal Supreme Court but Palmer says he wishes to make it rest at this point.
