Mahama makes new CEO appointments to TOR, EOCO etc

President John Dramani has made new Chief Executive Officer appointments to four state institutions – NITA, TOR, EOCO & Venture Capital.

Mr. Kingsley Awuah Darko has been asked to take over responsibility for the management of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR). Mr. Awuah Darko who is also the Acting Managing Director of BOST takes over from Dr. Alphone Kwao Dorcoo who has been reassigned to the Ministry of Petroleum.

According to the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, the change is part of the President, John Dramani Mahama’s ongoing restructuring of the leadership of government agencies.

Also affected are the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), National Information Technology Agency (NITA) and the Ghana Venture Capital Trust Fund.

At EOCO, a Deputy Executive Director, Justice Tsar, has been appointed Acting Executive Director to replace Mr. Kweku Biadela Mortey whose contract appointment after his retirement has expired.

Mr. George Atta-Boateng of the Ghana Education Service takes over as Acting Director General of NITA following the appointment of William Tevie as Acting Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA).

Mr. Osman Suleman is the new Acting CEO of the Ghana Venture Capital Trust Fund.
