Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has petitioned the General Legal Council to investigate investigative journalist-cum-lawyer, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, for “professional misconduct and moral turpitude”. He wants disciplinary action taken against Anas if found culpable. Mr. Agyapong who has described Anas as a “corrupt and evil” person, has since early June been on a campaign to prove the allegation against the journalist whose latest investigative works exposed corruption in Ghana’s football. He said he is willing to appear before the Council to assist in “unravelling the truth or otherwise”, noting he has meanwhile delivered a copy of his “Who Watches the Watchman” video to the Council for “consideration and action”.
