According to her, when a woman is empowered, she will also turn around to empower others. She was speaking on Saturday, June 30, at launch of City of Shiloh, a multi-purpose facility. City of Shiloh is located at Agortor-tsopoli on the Tema Ada highway in the Osu Doku district. The City of Shiloh is a vast land acquired by the women’s ministry of the Royal House Chapel to reinstate women who have just returned from prison. The facility will as well be used as a prayer ground for every woman who needs to seek the face of God. Mrs Korankye Ankrah explained that there is a higher number of women who are deprived in society hence the need to focus on women and empower them. She described the facility as one that will have about 1000 dormitories, 40 toilets and bathrooms, a canteen, an auditorium for empowerment seminars, camp meetings and others. “This city is named “City of Shilo” because this is where we will be delivered”, she said. The ceremony was part of the Women’s conference, an event that brought together all women from the church under the theme “I Will Not Be Ashamed”. By Maame Adjoa Cann|3news.com|Ghana]]>
