The Akwraboye Doku family of Atreko We of Teshie (the “family”) wish to inform the general public that upon becoming aware of the publication by the New Crusading Guide in which head referred to himself as family head, the family took steps to restrain Samuel Mensah Adjei Shia from holding himself out as de facto family head of Akwraboye Doku in Suit Number C 13/44/2023 Samuel Adjei Mensah Shia v Michael Adjei & Richard Atey Tetteh Doku

suit

An application for injunction has been successfully granted by the High Court. And as a result, Samuel Adjei Mensah Shia has been successfully restrained from holding himself out as the lawful family head of Akwraboye Doku until the subject matter suit is finally determined. Again, the Court also restrained Richard Atey Tetteh Doku in order to preserve the status quo ante until the suit is finally determined.

In the light of the above, it has become necessary that the principal elders of the family appoint an interim head to assist the family with its day-to-day business and also to represent the family in all pending suits for and against the family. It is noteworthy that anybody who deal with Samuel Adjei Mensah Shia deals with him at his own peril.

Please take notice that the principal elders have validly elected and approved of Master Adjetey Israel Mensah as the interim family head of Akwraboye Doku of Atreko We of Teshie. This appointment is necessary in ensuring that the family can continue conducting all its day-to-day activities through its interim family head, until the determination of the Suit supra.

We have also attached the order of the High Court in Suit Number C 13/44/2023 Samuel Adjei Mensah Shia v Michael Adjei & Richard Atey Tetteh Doku for your kind attention.

Kindly take notice that the family remains vigilant in protecting all its lands within the Otanor enclave, and warns all trespassers to stay away from the fruits of the family’s judgment.

Sincerely,

Council of Elders

Akwraboye Doku of Atreko We of Teshie
