The inconvenience at Medie Presbyterian basic School is expected to ease after the school received some 100 desks from Voltic Ghana Limited. The company also donated bags of cement to support the cementing of the sandy classrooms. The gesture according to the company is part of their corporate social responsibility and also in line with their commitment in supporting education in the country. The Medie Presby School has been plagued with numerous challenges, including lack of classrooms as the school remains uncompleted.
Managing director of Voltic Ghana Limited, François Gazania, was optimistic the gesture will go a long way in giving students a conducive environment for academic excellence “We are committed to impacting our communities through education and other social interventions, and we believe that will help the students become better in future.” Headmaster of the school, Shadrach Tetteh Adegu, expressed gratitude to Voltic and implored other benevolent organizations to do so. “We see this as a relief to many of our problems and we call on others to help make education attractive for the pupils” By Grace Asare/3fm/3news.Com
