Liverpool midfielder Thiago to be out for several weeks with hamstring injury

Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara is expected to be out for several weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury in Saturday’s Premier League opener.
The 31-year-old Spaniard was replaced after 51 minutes of Fulham’s 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
He will have a second scan later this week, but Liverpool believes the injury is not serious.
They are already missing midfielders Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
In August, Liverpool will face Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Bournemouth, and Newcastle before hosting Everton on September 3.
