Final year students of the KNUST SHS in the Ashanti Region went on rampage Tuesday night after they accused authorities of neglecting a sick student who later died at the hospital. The irate students vandalized properties including a vehicle belonging to the headmistress. Narrating the incident to journalists, the students said the deceased could have survived if the authorities had supported them to convey him to hospital. But they said the teachers left the student for more than three hours because they suspected he had contracted Covid-19 and did not want to come near him. Police have been stationed at the school to maintain law and order. Source: editors.3news.com|Ghana
