Jordan Ayew determined to lead a comeback against Man United on Saturday

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew has expressed his determination to help his team bounce back against Manchester United in their Premier League clash on Saturday.

The 32-year-old who captained the Eagles for the first time against the Red Devils succumbed to a 3-0 defeat in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night as Erik ten Hag’s men secured back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

The two sides are set to square off again at Old Trafford on Saturday in the ongoing English Premier League and Jordan Ayew is hopeful his team will serve fans with an improved performance as they chase their first win after four matches having last secured a 3-2 victory in the Premier League over Wolves.

“We know they were just better than us tonight and we just need to go back home, recover and get ready for Saturday, because Saturday’s going to be a different game.

“I think this game has given us more desire and more will to win on Saturday,” he stated after the defeat.

Palce are currently 10th in the standings with eight points after six games.
