[Video] Kids with special needs in dire need of educational logistics

Kids with special needs in the Aboom Special Needs School in the Cape Coast  of the Central Region are in dire need of logistics that will help them attain quality education.  Faced with inadequate logistical challenges, teachers in the school find it difficult helping the kids live normal lives. The situation has forced school authorities to improvise to train the kids, but complain it is not the best for the kids. TV3’s Bright Nana Amfoh reports the school which has kids suffering from Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and learning disability could have better been trained if all logistics are provided for the school. The major challenge of the school as reported by Bright is transportation to and from school. He reports there are about 125 pupils on the school’s roll but less than half turn up for class daily, largely because their parents are unable to provide for the transportation needs of their kids. What are stakeholders doing to help the kids? There is more in this report: By editors.3news.com
