Ayew unveiled as Al Sadd player after penning two-year contract

Qatari champions Al Sadd have wrapped up a deal for Ghana captain Andre Ayew.
Ayew was unveiled by Al Sadd – a club his legendary father Abedi Pele played for during his career – on Thursday in Doha.
The 31-year-old has a signed two-year contract, with an option to extend for a further one year.
Ayew will wear jersey number 24 at the club.
Reports say Ayew will earn a monthly salary of $220,000.
The move also ends Ayew’s long stay in Europe which began 14 years ago at Marseille.
His last club in Europe was Swansea City, where he tried to carry them back to the Premier League. He scored a combined 31 goals as Swansea reached Championship playoffs in the past two seasons.
