
Ghanaian record producer, M.O.G Beatz has added his voice to the mental health challenges affecting people living under the spotlight.
John Kwesi Dosunmu-Mensah, 29, popularly known as M.O.G Beatz made this known in a series of tweets from her verified Twitter account on Tuesday, March 21.
According to the four-time producer of the year, the current pandemic was affecting several players in the creative industry including actors, film directors, music artistes, producers, and many others.
“Chale a lot of Artistes are depressed o.. May God give them peace .. Cos eno easy especially when the hits are not coming and the fans are constantly downgrading their efforts,” he posted
The God-fearing producer also used the medium to ask God to help all individuals battling such situations.
“Even some producers, video directors, actors etc are also depressed. Lord have mercy,” he concluded
It is unknown what triggered the producer who has worked with the likes of Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Kwesi Arthur, etc to issue this specific statement
However, it’s worth noting that several conclusive reports over the past two years have indicated that a number of famous people and creatives after the pandemic have had a difficult time dealing with their depression and mental health.
