WMA 2022: Connect FM’s D’Gem wins Entertainment Show Host of the Year

Ato Kwamina Otoo, affectionately known as D’Gem, has been adjudged Entertainment Show Host of the Year at the Western Music Awards (WMA 2022).

The astute entertainment journalist, since taking over as host of the Connect Entertainment Review show 4 years ago, has been nominated each year in the award scheme.

In an interview on the sidelines of the Western Music Awards, D’Gem explained that the award comes off an intentional agenda to discuss news concerning creatives in and from the Western Region.

Aya Ramzy B won Artiste of the Year. He also picked 3 other awards – Hiplife Artiste of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year and best Regional Song of the Year awards.
