Akoma FM’s Beatrice Spio-Garbrah grabs Ashanti Regional GJA Secretary

Host of Akoma Mu Nsem on Akoma 87.9FM, Beatrice Spio-Garbrah, has been elected as the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
She contested, unopposed.
Former Northern Sector Bureau Chief of Media General Kofi Adu Domfe grabbed the Regional Chairman position.
Mr Domfeh defeated his opponent, Georgina Ankomah, the outgoing Regional Secretary to grab the top spot.
He won by a single vote; securing 16 against his competitor’s 15 votes.
A total of 31 eligible members of the GJA in the Ashanti Region voted on Monday.
“I am humbled by the support and trust. Together, we will raise the bar of professionalism, ” Domfe remarked.
