UCC mgt dismisses reports of robbery attacks
The Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has rejected reports that robbery attacks have occurred on the campus and resulted in the death of some students. Head of Public Affairs at the UCC Major (rtd) Kofi Baah Bentum said the reports are false and should be disregarded. He assured of strict security on the campus. There were claims on twitter that armed robbers stormed lecture halls on Monday night and attacked students. The reports claimed that the students were robbed of their monies, mobile phones, and laptops. But Major (Rtd) Kofi Baah Bentum told TV3 in an interview that the reports are false. “In fact the one who put out the formation said it was a prank. “He has succeeded in the mischief or the prank that he sought to do because almost everybody has believed it and not only believed it [but] people have added twists to it. “They are talking about some being injured or some being killed.” By Laud Nartey|editors.3news.com|Ghana
