The first runner- up in the maiden edition of TV3 Next Top Actor reality show, Susan Quarcoo, has set up a foundation to help orphan and underprivileged children in Ghana get access to education and other basic needs.
The “Susan Foundation,” she explained, is all about putting smiles on the faces of orphans and needy children in Ghana.
The promising actress, joined by some friends and colleagues, has undertaken her first philanthropic work at the Teshie Children’s Home where she donated some items as part of her birthday celebration.
“With all the good things life has presented within the quarter of the year, there was no better way to make merry than to put smiles on the faces of these wonderful kids here,” she said at the presentation of the items.
She added “knowing how it feels to go through life and its hardship, my team and I will go all out to ensure that thousands of kids in this same condition and even those on the street gain access to education and some basic needs”.
She called on corporate Ghana to help support lives of the less privileged in society.
