TV3 adjudged Tourism Oriented Media station
The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has named Ghana’s Number 1 television station TV3 as the Tourism Oriented Media in Television.
The award was conferred on TV3 at the 13th National Tourism Awards held at the National Theatre on Friday, November 6.
It was received on behalf of TV3 by the General Manager for Media General Television, Francis Doku.
The awards ceremony was themed: ‘Growing Tourism Beyond The Return, COVID-19’.
TV3 beat competition from Citi TV and Adom TV to win the award.
The latest honour comes exactly a week after the parent company of your favourite television station, Media General, was crowned the Media Organisation of the Year at the Ghana Business Awards.
It also follows the Best English TV Station Award received at the 25th GJA Awards held last month.
