Dancegod Lloyd and Afrobeast shot down rumours about any rivalry between themselves and Incredible Zigi on the Showbiz 360 show.
Speaking to Giovani Caleb about their new project, the co-founders of Dance With a Purpose (DWP) Academy asserted that the Dance industry in Ghana has a united front. According to Dancegod Lloyd, Incredible Zigi has been a longtime friend, and they continue to nurture the brotherly lines.
He said, “We started this journey together. We used to be super-super cool friends with the same ambitions and all. But you know, as the tree dey grow, the branches dey go.” Despite going their separate ways, Dancegod Lloyd and Incredible Zigi have featured together in music videos. The former asserted that no love has been lost and that the vibe is still great.
The sensational duo revealed their joint dance album called ‘Akwantuo’. Akwantuo tells their dance journey, dreams and aspirations in the industry. Nicholas Botwe, known as Afrobeast, revealed that his partnership with Dancegod Lloyd started about 7-years ago. But he has been dancing all his life.
Dance With A Purpose Academy is a dance school with more than 200 enrolled students. Their dancing ages range between 11-years to 24-years. Dance classes are held every Wednesday and Saturday at Pulse Fitness Gym inside the Lizzy Sports Complex, East Legon.
