Strong-spirited Dr Kwabena Adjei will be missed – Rawlings mourns former NDC Chairman

JJ Rawlings worked with Dr Adjei from the PNDC days[/caption] Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Jerry John Rawlings has sent “sincere condolences” to the family of Dr Kwabena Adjei, who died on Tuesday after a short illness. Dr Adjei was being treated for an undisclosed ailment at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital but could not survive.

He served NDC in various capacities including its National Chairman between 2005 and 2014. Before the introduction of the 1992 Constitution, he was a Deputy Secretary of the PNDC for the Volta Region.
