Hasaacas Ladies recorded their second biggest win away over Immigrations Ladies in a four-goal mauling on match day four of the women’s premier league while Ampem Darkoa also tasted the first defeat of the season.

Another exciting weekend of women’s football just went past with several interesting results across the two zones.

Let’s dive into the matches and make sense of what the results mean. 18 goals were scored in the two zones with only two home wins.

Three visiting teams took the shine from the home sides while a further three drawn games were recorded.

Prison Ladies continued to assert or maintain themselves in the Northern Zone handing over Ampem Darkoa their first defeat of the season.

Elsewhere, Alhassan Bintu’s goal helped Pearl Pia Ladies marched on with another important win, beating Kumasi Sports Academy who recorded their first loss of the season.

Northern Ladies held Fabulous Ladies at home after suffering a set back on their way to Kumasi.

Without a win this season, Ashtown and Supreme Ladies failed to usurp each other with a one-all draw.

In the Southern Zone, Hasaacas Ladies are considered giants in women’s football for a reason.

That was proven when they thrashed Immigration Ladies 4-0 at McDan Park in their second consecutive win this season.

Head Coach Yusif Basigi seemed delighted with his side’s comeback win and praised them for their efforts after losing their first two games of the campaign.

In other results, Sea Lions beat Ladystrikers 3-0 at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium. Halifax recorded their 3rd draw in the season as they held Police Ladies at their own backyard.

Soccer Intellectuals maintained their unbeaten run as they pulled the brake on Samaria Ladies, good away record to climb to the top of the southern zone table.
