Local Organising Committee (LOC) member for the ongoing 2023 African Games, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, has revealed that spectators can now enjoy the games for free except for VIPs.
Concerns have been raised about the rates of entrance fee for the 13th edition of the African Games hosted by Ghana.
In response, the LOC has put measures in place to boost attendance at various venues as the competition continues to gain attention.
Dan Kwaku Yeboah who doubles as a sports journalist revealed that, the committee has now agreed to allow spectators to watch the game for free from Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
“I spoke to the ticketing team, and what they are saying is that except for VIP, they are not going to sell the rest of the tickets. The rest will go for free from tomorrow [Tuesday],” he told JoyNews.
“So you can just walk in and watch any of the competitions.”
