Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association for his comments against Daniel Laryea.

Konadu blamed his side’s inability to pick maximum points at Berekum in matchday two on officiating.

Earlier, Ebusua Dwarfs head coach Ernest Thompson also made similar comments after his side’s 2-0 loss to Eleven Wonders and will also appear before the Committee to explain his comments.

The Ghana Football Association have however disclosed that before the start of the season, stakeholders were given procedures to channel their grievances.

Stakeholders were asked to fill referee complaint forms by indicating time, incident, culprits and submit it to the match review panel within 48 hours after the said game.

Any further decision will be taken by the Match Review Panel after reviewing the complaints.

“Clubs, players and officials are urged to use the appropriate processes to address all grievances rather than resorting to making comments against match officials after the game” the FA communicated.
