Speaking in an interview played on Yen Nsempa on Onua FM on Monday, he stated that he had had to make a hard choice a few months before he decided to leave the Zebras. “A month or may be and a month and half, when I was about to finish the season, that was when I decided to leave the club because it was so difficult for me to take that decision. “With all achievement and relationship in the team, I could not just tell them I was leaving. It was so difficult for me. It even got to a point if I go to bed I could not sleep,” Kwadwo Asamoah revealed. But he said despite the difficulty, “I had to also look at the future of my children and make that decision and also to my career because things weren’t the same as when I went to Juventus”. He said, however, that his favourite number on his jersey was Number 20 since that is the number he started his career with. “I had my favorite number already that is Number 20. I like that number because when I started my career in Europe, that was the number I used and that’s the number I like and it’s the same number that made me who I am today.” By Lily Kakra Owusu|3news.com|Ghana ]]>
