Juventus are set to announce an exciting partnership with their former midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah, to establish a football academy in Ghana.

This move makes Ghana the latest African country to benefit from Juventus’ youth development initiatives, joining the ranks of Tunisia, Tanzania, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Africa.

Juventus boast a global network of over fifty football academies, focusing on nurturing young talent by providing both football skill development and educational training. These academies accompany young players on their journey from their introduction to the game to maturity, emphasising holistic development beyond just sports.

Notably, an ultra-modern training facility has already been constructed in the capital city, Accra, by the former Ghana international as part of this ambitious project.

The official opening of the Juventus Football Academy Ghana is scheduled for Friday, October 27, 2023, at the SMAC Sports Centre in Accra.

Kwadwo Asamoah spent six successful years at Juventus, during which he achieved the distinction of becoming Africa’s most decorated player in the Italian top flight.

His impressive tenure at the club saw him winning six Serie A titles, along with four Coppa Italia trophies. Additionally, Asamoah played a pivotal role in helping Juventus reach the Champions League final on two occasions.
