Former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho threw his runners-up medal into the crowd following the Europa League final on Wednesday night in Budapest.

The renowned Portuguese manager couldn’t contain his frustration after his AS Roma side fell short in the highly anticipated clash against Sevilla.

Mourinho, who had never lost a European final before this encounter, had set his sights on securing another trophy for his club.

The disappointment of missing out on the title proved to be too much for the fiery tactician to bear. As the medal was handed to him, Mourinho’s emotions got the better of him, and he impulsively tossed it into the crowd, shocking both fans and onlookers.
