Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Isaac Amoako is crediting his coaching expertise for Nsoatreman’s impressive defensive record in the Ghana Premier League this season.

Nsoatreman are currently in second position, having kept five clean sheets in nine games.

Amoako, who is currently working with his former Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu at Nsoatreman, believes his experience has played a key role in the team’s success.

“I have that vast experience, so whatever I tell them or whatever I put them through, they always try to cope and they always listen to instruction,” Amoako said in an interview with 3Sports’ GPL Xpress.

“The work we are putting through here is reflecting because you can see the performance of our first-choice goalkeeper Daniel [Afadwu] who has been so fantastic this season in the league.”

The former Ghana international hopes to help the club achieve their target of staying up.  Despite their good start, the club remain focused on their primary objective of survival in the league.

They have lost their last two games and will hope to bounce back this weekend when they host Real Tamale United at Nana Professor Koromansa II Park.
