AshantiGold Sporting Club handed Aduana Stars their second straight defeat at the Len Clay Sports Stadium when they played them on Match week 15.

Frank Akoto and Yaw Annor scored a goal each in the first half of the game before a brace from David Abagna in the second half to complete the work for AshantiGold Sporting club

Week 15 games will continue accross 6 league centers.

Berekum Chelsea vs Dreams FC

Berekum Chelsea are in a positive mood as they approach this weekend fixture against Dreams FC after a 2-0 win against Eleven Wonders. However, the Still Believe boys have been in excellent form since the turn of the year. Joseph Esso will be looking to add to the brace he got in Dreams FC’s impressive 4-2 win last week against Aduana Stars. Esso will be key to whatever Dreams FC attempt to do in this game and he will be hoping to continue his impressive goalscoring run this season.

Hearts of Oak vs Ebusua Dwarfs

Hearts of Oak have had a turbulent week. Coach Kosta Papic resigned from his position after a short 11-game spell that has left the Phobians in 11th place, 8 points from top spot. They will be looking to bring some calm to the situation and a win against Ebusua Dwarfs will be a step in the right direction. Ebusua Dwarfs were disappointed with a 2-1 defeat against Karela United in their last fixture and will be looking to make up for that against a jaded Hearts of Oak side.

Karela United vs Liberty Professionals

The heroics of Diawisie Taylor continue to keep Karela United at the top of the Ghana Premier League table. Taylor hit his 10th goal of the season to help Karela defeat Ebusua Dwarfs in their last game, he became the first player to reach double figures for scoring in the league this season. Liberty Professionals should be wary of the threat posed by Karela after they conceded 2 goals themselves in a disappointing 2-2 draw against Inter Allies in their previous fixture.

Bechem United vs Legon Cities

Bechem United will be able to leap to as high as second place by the end of the gameweek. Standing in their way are Legon Cities FC. Bashir Hayford’s side have been largely disappointing this season but are on a 5 game unbeaten streak and could cause problems for Bechem. Bechem were poor in a 2-0 loss and that should give them a point to prove against Legon Cities.

Eleven Wonders vs Great Olympics

Ignatius Fosu’s Techiman Eleven Wonders side have been underwhelming after a very fast start to the season. They lost 2-0 in a very average display against Berekum Chelsea last weekend and that means their poor run extends to just 1 win in their last 5 games. Accra Great Olympics on the other hand are on a very good run of form, they just needed a single goal to get past Elmina Sharks and they could take top spot with a victory away in Techiman tomorrow.

Elmina Sharks vs Medeama

Elmina Sharks will be bouncing after a hard fought 2-0 victory when Bechem United visited Cape Coast last week. Medeama on the other hand are sore after a defeat in their previous fixture. There is a chance however for Medeama to end the weekend in the top 4 if they win this game and that can provide the needed motivation for Samuel Boadu and the rest of his squad.

Inter Allies vs WAFA

Inter Allies will play hosts to WAFA this weekend as they attempt to secure all three points, a challenge that has proved much too difficult for them since the season started. They are rooted to the bottom of the league, 6 points from their closest rivals and they will need to string together some victories immediately if they want to make it out of their predicament. WAFA have not been in terrific form either and they will be looking to pick up what will be only their second victory in their last five games.
