Jordan Ayew has reaffirmed the steadfast commitment of himself and his older brother Andre Ayew to the Black Stars cause.

The Ayew brothers, mainstays in the Ghanaian national team for over a decade, have vowed to continue fighting for their country till the end.

Speaking ahead of the Black Stars’ upcoming friendly match against Uganda, the Crystal Palace forward expressed their dedication to representing Ghana with honour and determination. Despite facing backlash from some quarters of Ghanaian fans, the brothers remain resolute in their allegiance to the national team.

“God has given us the opportunity to represent Ghana the best way as possible. We are really committed till the end. For us, it’s always an honor to represent and we will always fight for our colors,” Jordan Ayew reiterated in an interview.

The Ayew brothers have not only been integral on the field but also assumed leadership roles within the team. Andre Ayew, serving as the captain, and Jordan Ayew, stepping up in his absence, have demonstrated their commitment to guiding the team through challenges.

In the recent match against Nigeria, despite suffering a 2-1 defeat, Jordan Ayew managed to make an impact by scoring a crucial goal.

The Ayew brothers’ dedication to the Black Stars is evident in their extensive international experience, with Andre Ayew boasting 119 appearances, the most by any player, and Jordan Ayew with over 90 caps for Ghana.

While calls for their expulsion have emerged following the team’s recent uninspiring performances, the Ayew brothers remain undeterred, focused on representing their country with pride and resilience.
